Welcome to ‘Design an Image’

Tetra Pak and WWF-UK’s national* schools competition which invites students, aged 7-14, to design an image to represent ‘renewability’ / renewable resources. We’re looking for a simple, striking picture which can be used in our joint campaign activities next year, whether on posters, stickers or leaflets, to show people the importance of thinking and choosing ‘renewable’.

The winning pupil will receive £100 and could also win £2,000 for their school to spend on an environmental project!

*Competition is open to residents of the UK only.
Closing date for entries is 23 January 2012.

and Pledge to Win!

Click here to play Tree-Vital Pursuits – the treemendous quiz that will test your knowledge of all things environmental. For each correct answer, you will be entered into our prize draw for a chance to win some great prizes and you’ll also add points to our donation counter!

The more you play, the more points you will add to the donation counter. This will trigger donations from Tetra Pak to WWF-UK, with every 10 points generating another 10p donation. You can also accumulate points by joining in and sharing our campaign through Facebook, Twitter or by making a pledge to choose renewable.

In addition to the donation counter, Tetra Pak will make a £1,000 bonus donation to WWF-UK when we hit 5,000 players, so make sure you tell all your friends to sign up too!

A renewable resource is a natural resource that, if looked after properly, can be managed to supply our demand for resources at a sustainable rate - so those resources that are consumed are replaced. Renewability has been called the fourth ‘R’. It is not reducing, re-using, or recycling. It is the fourth ‘R’ that we can use to help better care for the planet’s natural resources.
